Buyer questions
What do buyers ask most?
How do I start buying a home with you?
Start with a call to set goals, then get pre-approved with a lender, sign a buyer services agreement, and begin touring. We set up a search for the areas you like and walk you through each offer.
How much do I need for a down payment?
It depends on the loan. Some programs allow low or no down payment for eligible buyers, such as VA loans, while conventional loans often allow small down payments. A lender can tell you what you qualify for.
What contingencies are common in Washington offers?
Common contingencies include inspection, financing, appraisal, and sale of the buyer's home. Which ones to include depends on the home and the competition; we talk through the trade-offs for each offer.
How long does closing take?
Many financed purchases close in roughly 30 to 45 days after mutual acceptance, but timing depends on the loan, the contract and the parties. Cash purchases can close faster.
